Welcome to my blog! I am not a professional tarot reader, by that I mean that I do not do readings for a living, neither do I claim to be an expert on all things Tarot.  This blog is merely a record of what I find and experience on my own tarot journey through learning and reading the cards, tarot resources, perspectives from other readers, and related topics.

I have always had an interest in spiritual matters and esoteric subjects and have explored these throughout my life. I was first  drawn to Tarot cards in my teens, but then fell out of using them for some time. I recently felt drawn to use them again and to  explore the realm of learning and reading cards, and in doing so expand my own intuition.

In the course of wanting to relearn Tarot I felt I'd like to be better able to interpret them than I did many years ago, so sought guidance online through various tarot blog posts and tutorials. The web is a great place to find information but there are so many opinions on how to use tarot, how to best learn the cards, how to shuffle, how to start a reading...etc. etc.that for those starting out it can be overwhelming and it is easy to accept these as prescriptive and forget that the real essence of using the Tarot is tapping into your own intuition. Learning Tarot is like a journey - you have to find your own way, but it's an exciting and interesting journey.
